ABDUL T. SESAY
Writer/ Director/ Producer
Born to Sierra Leonean parents in London, United Kingdom, and raised in Maryland, United States. Abdul T. Sesay has recently moved to California in July of 2023 to take his Film/Video Production Company Sa-Loan Productions to the next level. He’s a Writer/Director/Producer that loves to collaborate on meaningful projects. He has been writing since the age of 14, and every time he feels like the well has run dry, more concepts and ideas instantly pour in. “All I ever wanted to do is to create art that I could share with the world that would move others. It makes no difference, whether it is happiness, sorrow, disdain, laughter, or enlightenment. Simply put, I just want viewers of my films or TV shows to have an experience that elicits unexpected emotions that they didn’t have.” He has two award winning short films that he has written, directed, and produced. He has several TV series pilots that he is ready to launch. As well as a full feature called The Pushover. He’s looking to collaborate with other producers and investors to bring new projects to realization with different perspectives, while receiving an ROI in the process.
Darren C. Murray
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Darren C. Murray began R. Badwah & Murry Films in 2008. It came after a 4-year hiatus following the tragic death of his very close cousin. The name concept is an incorporation of Darren’s fallen cousin Robert Badwah and his name Darren Murray. The name was born as homage to the life of his late cousin Robert’s life and the rebirth of Darren’s production career. Since December of 2008, Darren has been working on various projects such as short films, brand videos for companies, music videos, and travel documentaries. During this period, he has also acquired the skill of post-production editing and shared his talents at ESPN in Washington D.C. He has directed and produced multiple camera setups for live comedy and music performances. In addition, the producer has experience in voice-over narrative coaching for documentaries and commercials using audio recording equipment. ” When we’re in the creative process with the client, we exercise our expert opinions, and we thrive off feedback to pinpoint what the client desires in the end.” The company’s moto, “Preserving the Present for the Future” always means to take pride in filming the present because it will soon become part of the past. With the proper preservation of the past, we can always present these events to future generations.
Asia Antoinette (Tiesha)
Asia Antoinette Cunningham, also known as Asia Antoinette, was born and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland. She has been passionate about acting since she was just five years old. This is just a snippet of Asia’s extensive acting and modeling resume. The actress/model has been a part of over 20 films, 5 plays, 3 TV series, 5 commercials, and a historical documentary on CNN. As you can see, the actress is no stranger to the industry. Ms. Cunninghan’s long time love of the Beauty Pageant Industry has landed her two pageant titles in 2022 and 2023. Some of her modeling experiences include “New York Fashion Week”, several modeling segments on “Good Morning Washington”, and Fox 5 News.
James Ernest Ingram III (Mark)
James Ernest Ingram III is an American born actor born in Tacoma, Washington to Valerie Ingram, and James E Ingram II, a career armed forces member. Young Ingram dreamed of being a professional basketball player or entertainer. He attended High School in Raeford North Carolina, then joined the United States Air Force from 2003 – 2014. In 2016 James moved back to the Washington DC Metro area where he met producer and director Abdul T. Sesay of Sa-Loan Productions. As he started his acting career, his dream of becoming an entertainer came true. 2021 the actor starred in his first short ” A Good Night’s Rest” where he plays a disgruntled boyfriend who’s just seeking some peace for the night. Then in 2022 he went on to star in a heartfelt short film ” It Could Be You” in which he plays a war veteran trying to teach wisdom to his younger brother. James would go on to win Best Actor at the “Moonwhite Films International Film Festival” in 2022. In his latest role he plays a supportive friend in the full featured film “The Pushover” another Sa- Loan Productions film scheduled to Premiere April 12th, 2024. This fresh new actor enjoys spending time with his family and is currently seeking acting opportunities where he can grow in his craft.
Patrick Bean Jr. (Craig)
Patrick Bean Jr. was born to an American mother, and Bermudian father, where he grew up between Bermuda and the United States, with the bulk of his time spent in Baltimore. Mr. Bean has a passion for working in film. He has appeared in a variety of independent films that are currently being pitched to various film festivals. Today PJ is shooting various independent films and performing for stage plays. Along with his passion for acting, the 36-year-old has progressed in his artistry. He writes music about the things he has been through. So far this year, he has released two music videos on YouTube, Day Trade, and Wild Wild West. His music can be found on Spotify, YouTube and iTunes, under PJ4Short.
Crystal Coates (Kim)
Crystal Coates, a 37-year-old American actress born and raised in the DMV (Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia) area, specifically Virginia. Crystal’s journey into acting commenced at the tender age of 7, earning her spot on the front page of the local newspaper after her outstanding audition for Oscar Mayer Wiener. With remarkable range, this aspiring actress has seamlessly transitioned through various lead, supporting and background roles in feature films, short films, and commercials. She is the founder of Actors Society DMV, a community workshop for acting, writing, directing, and producing. Crystal’s goal as an actress is to achieve an EGOT, adding an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony to her list of accomplishments.

Alvin Gray
(Mike Pearson)
Alvin Gray is a 37-year-old talented indie film-maker director, producer, and actor who hails from Baltimore Maryland with a remarkable 15-year journey in the DMV area. Leaving behind CBS radio, Alvin pursued his passion for creative expression and Cinematography, paving the way for a successful career as a producer and director. Gray has produced a long list of films such as Risky Business, Black Water Creek, Senior Cut Days, and Sweet Dreams, just to name a few. He is known for the movies The Rapper Who Got Shot in the Heel, The Nurse That Saw the Baby on the Highway and Check Please!
Desi Alexander (Tyreke)
Desi Alexander is a comedian from Baltimore with limitless talent to bring to the stage. He was a schoolteacher by day and comic by night before following his dream full time. His late father, named him after a bit from “Eddie Murphy Delirious” has pushed him to live up to the reputation. He has performed with Jess Hilarious, Kevin Hart, Chris Tucker, Tommy Davidson, Paul Mooney, and many other countless legends in comedy. He is currently the host of the comedy sketch show “Tonight’s Special Guest” premiering soon. With over 228,000 followers on Instagram his tour is now going across the country.
Dequan Rose (Tony)
Dequan Rose, the eldest of four siblings, was born in the Bronx NY, where he started the pursuit of acting while attending Slippery Rock University. It was there he received a minor in theater. The actor now resides in Baltimore MD. His films include, Safewords, Life After Prison, and Blowing Off Steam which was part of the Capital Fringe Festival in Washington DC. In addition, Dequan has landed roles for movies such as The Redemption (2019) which received Best Actor Award in the Florence Film Festival, as well as “When It’s Over” that won Best Actor Award from the East Coast Movie Awards.
April Nicole (Lady In Pink)
April Nicole hails from Baltimore Maryland. She began her acting career in the award-winning TV Series Drama Homicide Life on the Street at the early age of 15. Since then, the actress has played roles in various films and television shows. April was first introduced to acting by her mother when she was a teenager. ” I learned that at a young age you can become so many different people and bring to life from paper an entire character. ” I Love the Arts and creativity, so acting gives me the freedom to express my creativity!
Tinico Sesay (Keisha)
Tinico Sesay was born in California and moved to the east coast in the late 90’s where she spent most of her time in the DC Metro area. She recently moved back to California in July 2023. This California native has played background roles in major films, music videos and television shows. She has worked as a PA for a short film which won awards in multiple film festivals. She has more behind the scenes experience as a Production Designer on a couple of films, one of which is a TV series pilot that is currently in post-production. This former model of renowned agencies in the Los Angeles area is currently working on relaunching her women’s clothing line Tinuke’ which is set to showcase Summer 2024.
